About the Owner
continued from Treehouse page.. When a group of owners decided to sell their weekend home and the surrounding 50 acres of land across from the Treehouse, we originally tried to buy the land. Our fear was that someone would buy it and cut down the trees. The sellers were set on selling the whole package and the idea of having another vacation rental home was born. The best part of the deal was we worked out a sale with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (Fallingwater) to purchase the 50 acres and conserve it. It was a dream come true and now Confluence has this wonderful asset--spanning from the Yough to the Casselman River--and hiking trails are in the works! We are proud and fortunate that we are able to share this home and space and helped facilitate the conservation of a special piece of land.Location
